Most of these products are over-hyped and are just plain ineffective.
Why do people buy muscle building supplements, or "bulk supplements" that are supposed to be good for building muscle? There are many reasons. Some people want to build muscle quickly without going through a full-body workout. This is very similar to what we are trying to achieve in a "rehabilitation program" and is called "mass-building" for a reason. Others want to build muscle in small increments in a few weeks and will pay more for a "bulk supplement" that helps them with this goal. They can afford to spend $20 for a pack of 25 pills, but they can't afford to pay the $50 to $100 for a $50 product like creatine, which is the same for everyone, especially people who are already "healthy." If you have been reading my blog you will know that I always put my clients' health first and give them what they need. We have people who are doing amazing things with the way they look, and I would never sell them anything that wouldn't work for them. However, I don't want people to be taken advantage of. That's why I will offer you a choice of products that we both know will work for everyone, with no artificial additives, colors, or other nonsense that may increase the cost of the product and cause side effects.
